Fun with friends at Runways' End Outdoor Activity Centre

Tuesday, 6th February 2018

Fun with Friends” is possible, thanks to the Mallards Charity. When Mallards ceased, it had remaining funds that their constitution stated should be used to benefit those people with disabilities in and around the Rushmoor area that wished to access sporting activities. These funds are now being used to subsidise activities at Runway’s End, which is a outdoor activity centre in Aldershot. It offers fully accessible climbing, shooting, archery, canoeing and there is also a sensory cave. The subsidised activities will be referred to as “Fun with Friends” and this leaflet will explain how your organisation can access this funding for your service users. This is a pilot scheme, as we don’t know yet how quickly the money will be used and so we will be reviewing after six months and asking you for your feedback.
