Winchester, Gosport & Fareham

'I feel good when I go to the LIG, it is welcoming', I can speak up and I like to listen' says James.
We meet on Mondays on the 3rd of the month except in August, at Church Hall, Free Street in Bishops Waltham from 12.30 noon to 2.30 pm. We share a lot of information in our area, and we invite a lot of guests. We have people with learning disabilities, carers and professionals in the group. We have two service users reps in our area (James and Peter) and we give a voice to our friends. Sally is our carer rep and gives a voice to carers in this area. The Reps meet quarterly at the Hampshire Learning Disability Partnership Board. 'It is a big responsibility because a lot of people listen to us and it makes a big difference to people'' says James.
This is the page for people living in Winchester, Gosport and Fareham.
